John Malloy is a General Partner and co-founder of BlueRun Ventures, an early stage venture capital firm focused on mobile technology & service innovation. He has been part of the explosive growth phases of major services & brands such as Friends & Family, NOKIA, PAYPAL and WAZE. As a VC, John was the first venture investor in PayPal (IPO 2002 & eBay), Waze (GOOG), Topsy (AAPL), Slide (GOOG), Bitfone (HP), Chomp (AAPL) and others.  Some of his current investments include HumanAPI, Kitman Labs and HelloHeart. Prior to starting BlueRun Ventures, John held executive and operating roles at NOKIA, MCI and co-founded Go Communications. He holds a J.D. from George Mason University and a B.A. from Boston College.

As the principal investor and co-founder of Longley Capital, Steven has been both an investor and operator. He brings a strong track record of developing successful solutions, driving top-line revenue production, and growing shareholder value. At Longley Capital, Steven works to assess investment opportunities and steward its portfolio. Steven began his sales career with CCBN where he was a top-performing sales executive. At Thomson Reuters, Steven held several roles, ultimately becoming the vice president of Business Development and Strategy and a member of the Reuters Insider platform. Steven then worked at Financial Recovery Technologies as an executive, responsible for corporate development, sales, and strategy. Steven received a BA in Economics from Trinity College and his MBA from the University of California San Diego Rady School of Management.

Marty Beard is a proven leader in the technology industry, with extensive experience across enterprise software, mobility and artificial intelligence. As a C-level executive at public and private companies, Marty collaborated with amazing teams to penetrate new market segments and drive significant top-line growth. He has also helped lead several high-profile turnarounds - including Sybase (sold to SAP) and BlackBerry (BB on NYSE). In 2018, Marty co-founded and launched alwaysAI, a software platform bringing the transformative power of deep-learning computer vision to the enterprise masses. He obtained his bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Berkeley, and MBA from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. 

John Abbamondi is a widely respected sports and entertainment industry veteran with deep experience across multiple sports leagues, teams and entertainment properties. He is the former CEO of BSE Global, the parent company of the Brooklyn Nets of the National Basketball Association and Barclays Center, one of the top-ranked multi-purpose arenas globally. Under his leadership, the Brooklyn Nets set franchise records for attendance and revenue and were the fastest-growing business in the NBA. 

Jay Snyder is a strategic advisory for the construction industry and managing principal of BBI (Big Blue Innovations), a contractor tech consulting, tech startup advisory, and tech M&A advisory firm. Jay has been in the construction industry throughout his 24-year career. He has led $1 billion in project management operations, oversaw a healthcare system's real estate portfolio and construction program containing 115 building assets, founded and exited a preconstruction technology software company, founded and led FMI's tech and innovation practice, and founded BBI - the industry's only full scale construction technology focused consulting and M&A advisory firm. He holds a bachelor’s degree in construction management from SUNY ESF at Syracuse University, a Master of Business Administration from Emory University, and M&A credentials from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Jay is also a decorated Lieutenant Colonel in the Air Force reserve, having started his career on active duty, and completed seven deployments leading combat and humanitarian operations around the globe during his 21 years of military service.

Pete Buhl is an entrepreneur, operating executive, and early-stage startup investor. His operating and investing experience spans consumer, enterprise software & financial verticals in a variety of global markets. Pete is currently the Founder/CEO of CalUp which he started in 2020. Prior to CalUp, Pete was co-founding CEO of Beeline Connect, a company he built, sold, and re-acquired. Prior to Beeline, Pete spent 12 years as co-founding General Partner and early-stage investor at BlueRun Ventures and served on the Board of Directors of Paypal (PYPL), LocationLabs (Avast), Like.com (GOOG), NexPlanar (CCMP), Netil (AKAM), Zmanda (CARB), Pogo (EA), Bitfone (HP) and FreedomPay. Pete started his career at Price Waterhouse and is a graduate of the Business School at UC Berkeley.

Stefan Sillén brings over 20 years of experience across the global industrial sector, most recently as President and CEO of Sea Dragon Energy, Inc. Sillén will actively work with alwaysAI to bring the power of computer vision to the industrial sector, allowing enterprises to transform operations, improve efficiency, and drive more revenue.

Dr. Gabriel A. Silva is a Professor of Neurosciences and Bioengineering at UCSD. As a world-leading expert in neuroscience and machine learning, Dr. Silva will collaborate with alwaysAI to further advance their computer vision technology and solutions. Dr. Silva’s work aims to understand how the brain works as an engineered system and how to apply this understanding to next-generation machine learning and machine inference.

Larry Socher is a global executive with extensive experience designing, building, integrating, and operating cloud native applications, cloud, next generation network and service platforms, and connected devices for communications service providers, large enterprises, and government agencies. He has a proven track record driving the vision, strategy, roadmap, and implementation for complex integrated solutions leveraging strategic technology partners and products to transform business and drive growth.

Ryan Durishin brings over 12 years of experience in the retail sector, currently serving as the Vice President of Development at Oakscale Franchise Development. Durishin is a resourceful marketing and sales leader that exceeds objectives through new business development, customer service, and cost savings business strategies. He is an expert in Sales, Marketing, and Business Development as an innovator of new leads generation, market analysis, and account acquisition.
