Role

As a software developer, you will work to create innovative computer vision applications and models using the alwaysAI platform across diverse customers that include retail, manufacturing, and autonomous systems.

You’ve done this before – i.e., you’ve been part of a professional service team that brought a customer project software product to market in a fast-moving environment using your strong Python development skills. You can speak to the tradeoffs between “perfect” and “good-enough” and have an appreciation for rapid prototyping.

Perhaps most importantly, you are excited about the potential of artificial intelligence, and computer vision in particular, and want to work with a dedicated group of technologists to make this new world come alive.

Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver applications using our SDK, middleware, and cloud training tools that meet the requirements of our customers. Develop tools and Python packages that will enhance and augment our platform software.
  • Collaborate with the broader development team on end-to-end product and development objectives to enhance and improve the project.
  • Partner with sales organizations and business development teams to build and sustain a vibrant enterprise customer base.

Key Qualifications

  • Strong coding skills in Python using scientific libraries like NumPy, SciPy, and Scikit-learn.
  • Experience with one or more deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch and Tensorflow.
  • Experience with training deep neural networks on large-scale datasets.
  • Experience with OpenCV
  • 2-3 Software Development Experience
  • Some sensor fusion work

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience with NVIDIA Jetson Devices, Raspberry Pi’s or other SOC’s
  • Experience with Docker tools

As a computer vision developer with alwaysAI, you will work on exposing new machine learning-based computer vision functionality to our edge computing SDK, and have the opportunity to work on our cloud-based machine learning and analytics systems to provide an end-to-end platform that is accessible to a broad audience of enterprise customers.

Perhaps most importantly, you are excited about the potential of artificial intelligence, and computer vision in particular, and want to work with a dedicated group of technologists to make this new world come alive.

Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver commercial-grade machine learning and dataset management code that meets product requirements and maps to alwaysAI's roadmap.
  • Collaborate with the broader development team on end-to-end product and development objectives.
  • Research and propose “what’s next” in advanced machine learning, and dataset management for inclusion in alwaysAI product roadmap.

Key Qualifications

  • PyTorch experience across multiple model architectures.
  • Experience with training deep neural networks on large-scale datasets.
  • 2-5 years of Machine Learning Experience
  • Strong coding skills in Python using scientific libraries like NumPy, SciPy, and Scikit-learn.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience with OpenCV
  • AWS Knowledge
  • Working Knowledge of CVAT

General Position Summary

alwaysAI is trailblazing an extremely easy and affordable way to build and deploy computer vision (CV) applications onto IoT/IIoT (edge) devices. As a fast-growing startup, we're highly focused on product innovation and building our communities of developers, partners, and most importantly enterprise customers. Our team is growing and we are seeking a seasoned Account Executives (AE) to close business with potential customers who can benefit from our products and services. We are looking for a talented and competitive individual that thrives in a fast-paced sales environment selling cutting-edge technology to enterprise-level customers – in this case, a platform for building and deploying CV applications onto edge devices like cameras, drones, etc.

Every potential customer is an opportunity for you to boost top-line revenue growth, customer acquisition levels, and profitability. We have an incredible corporate culture and are looking for hard workers willing to put in the extra time and effort while being part of a fun and rewarding team environment. The ideal candidates will possess strong sales, interpersonal and organizational skills. They should be comfortable with multitasking and be able to budget their resources in order to meet and exceed the assigned quotas for their AE role.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Proactively hunt for new strategic business via phone, social media, LinkedIn, email, and face-to-face, employing a balanced contact plan to generate prospects within the assigned focus markets.
  • Respond to and develop opportunities from in-bound leads, referrals and inquiries
  • Aggressively execute strategic sales campaigns which qualify well, solve and address business problems, build trust and loyalty with key decision makers, position our solution to secure new customers
  • Deliver compelling customer presentations and proposals.
  • Plan, implement and track daily/weekly/monthly sales activities with decision-makers and influencers.
  • Initiate and leverage contacts to build new business referrals.
  • Coordinate all aspects of the sale including price and contract negotiations.
  • Achieve at a minimum monthly, quarterly, and annual booking quotas as outlined by management.
  • Execute against a formal operating plan, and aggressively prospect, evaluate and identify revenue opportunities.
  • Build and own a predictable sales pipeline, including regular sales forecasting and upsell opportunities.
  • Drive profitability and grow revenue in partnership with the inside sales team.
  • Work with the marketing department to deliver a strong authentic message to the marketplace
  • Utilize HubSpot as a primary sales CRM database.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of competition and industry trends.

Educational / Training / Job-Related Experience Required

  • 5-10+ Years experience and/or knowledge of B2B software sales, preferably including SaaS/Cloud products and services.
  • Proven and experience navigating complex sales campaigns.
  • Proven experience selling to the C and VP levels.
  • Proven experience as an enterprise-level seller with a track record of sales quota attainment.
  • Ability to eliminate sales obstacles through creative and adaptive approaches.
  • Build long-term trusting relationships with prospects to qualify leads as sales opportunities.
  • Drive, strong work ethic, and a passion for creating unparalleled customer experiences.
  • Must be an entrepreneurial team-oriented person that thrives in a high-energy, fast-paced sales environment, achieving personal and business goals.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency with HubSpot or other CRM software.
